The wind waker
Made for the Nintendo Gamecube, it was released around
christmas 2002. There was much debate over the graphic
style shown by this game. Many people thought that Link
looked a bit childish and that the true players would abandon
the saga. If they did, we never heard of it since the story
was so overwhealming.
As Link is celebrating his twelth birthday with his grandmother and his sister, Arill, he receives a telescope to see the distant lands.
However, as he tries it out with his sister, he sees a big bird kidnapping a girl from a pirate ship. Naturally, the ship fires and the bird drops the girl. As Link sets off to help the girl, he sees the big bird striking again. Only this time, it grabs Arill.
